Don't know if anyone can help with this one! When I first got my Pace digibox and Satellite dish I added, under "other channels", ITV Yorkshire from a list I was given, changing the frequency, polarity, etc. All was fine until a few months ago and now I can no longer get the channel - it comes up with the message "There is a technical fault with this channel, please try later". Are the settings changed and is there anything I can do to get it back? Please don't reply to me in techno jargon, I'm just a dumb blonde (well, I'm not dumb and I'm not blonde really but that's another story!)!! x

Hi Sally
Don't know why it went off, but ours did too. We just use channel 993 now which although is London means you can still get Corrie etc.

Hi Sally

Sky had a fairly recent re-jiggle and it has thrown out a few channels.

You need to go to SERVICES on the remote
Then option 4 SYSTEM SETUP
The to option 4 again ADD CHANNELS.

For:
TTN
MERIDIAN S
MERIDIAN E
ANGLIA S
YORKS W
ITV2+1

You need these settings
FREC 10891
POL H
SY RATE 22
FEC 5/6

then scroll down to find channels and hit select.  This will bring up the list of available channels.

Scroll to the ones you want and select with the yellow button this should place a tick beside them in the list.  When you are done hit select.

To access the added channels go to
SERVICES
Option 6 OTHER CHANNELS
then select this will bring up a list of channels you have added, choose channel and then select

For any other regional channels follow the same procedure but use these settings
FREQ 10832
POL H
SY RATE 22
FEC 5/6

Also

FRE 10906
POL V
SY RATE 22
FEC 5/6

I have just tested this and it works  I had it written down somewhere and just had to locate it as I knew it would come in handy some day

Thanks guys, I'll have a go in the morning and let you know if it works! I know I can still get all the TV programmes on the other channels, but I used to like to listen to the news that was local to where I used to live. x
